Our vision

‘Revealing God’s love in Bramley’

People have been meeting to worship at St Peter’s, Bramley, and love and serve the community since the 1860’s. In 2022, we entered a new season of the life and work of the church as we were joined by a team from St George’s Church in Leeds.

Our values

As we seek to release our vision, we hold these five values:

Living out faith in Jesus: We learn how to walk with Jesus full of faith, so we become deeply transformed disciples; sharing God's love wherever we go.

Expecting God: We invite God’s presence through prayer and worship, so his love and transforming power moves in our church and communities.

Building connections: We seek to bring hope to Bramley, partnering with local communities, to meet spiritual and social needs and to see God’s Kingdom come.

Being generous: We give generously as our response to God's love for us and His world. We aim to do it responsibly, relationally and respectfully.

Welcome and belonging: We welcome well, accept people as they are and help people to belong.

Our beliefs

We believe and trust in one God, Father Son and Holy Spirit.

  • We believe God has revealed himself through the Bible.

  • We believe God has revealed himself most clearly through the gift of his Son, Jesus Christ.

  • We believe God makes himself known personally to each believer through the work of the Holy Spirit.

  • We believe being a Christian means responding to Jesus' invitation to enjoy a relationship with God here on earth and for eternity.

At St Peter’s Church, we have a value of welcoming well.

We hope you will visit us soon and feel welcomed, accepted and find a place to belong.
