Worship Band and Choir

Our Worship Band

Our worship band helps lead the church in sung worship each Sunday. The group is made up of instrumentalists and singers from our congregation who serve together to help us focus on God through music and song.

We usually include a mixture of guitars, keyboard, drums and vocals, and we sing a range of modern worship songs alongside well-loved hymns. The aim is not a performance, but to help everyone take part — whether you love to sing loudly or simply listen and reflect.

Every Sunday you can expect a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, with song words on the screens so everyone can join in. You don’t have to know the music already — many people simply listen at first and join in when they feel comfortable.

As well as our Sunday morning services, the band also serves at our special Worship Nights, which are more extended times of worship, prayer and reflection together.

New Choir

Following the success of our recent pop-up choir, we are delighted to be forming a regular church choir and would love you to be part of it.

The choir will help lead music at a new monthly Evensong service, beginning in May (held on the second Sunday of each month at 6.30pm). You do not need to have previous choir experience, and you do not need to read music — just a willingness to sing and learn together.

Rehearsals will take place after the Sunday morning service from 12.15pm–1.00pm on the following dates:

• 8 March
• 22 March
• 29 March
• 12 April
• 26 April

Everyone is welcome — teenagers and adults alike — whether you regularly attend church or are simply interested in singing. It’s a friendly and relaxed group, and a great way to meet others.
