Families and Young People

Families and young people are very important to us at St. Peter’s and we would love to journey with you through family life.

Bramley’s Families.

Join us at our weekly family service on Thursdays at 3.30 pm, term time. Snacks, crafts, bible stories, prayer and praise for families with children aged 0-11.

Come as a family!

Family Celebrations

Every month we have a family celebration, usually focussed on the season. Our family celebrations are relaxed, interactive and we hope to bring something for every age group to engage with worship.

Family Events

We love a reason for a special family event. Popular events involve Pancakes, Easter Eggs, Light and Christingles. Keep an eye out for what’s going on each term.

Children and Youth

We love welcoming young people to all our Sunday services.

For babies we have baby changing facilities, play mats and bouncer chairs.

There is a Kids Zone with toys appropriate for toddlers and the younger child who might prefer to play during the service. Children age 0-5 are also invited to Praise Patrol. From April this will run twice a month during the 10.30 Service. For this terms dates, see our dates below. We hope to launch a children’s group for 6-11’s soon.

We like to include our young people in facilitating the service as soon as they feel ready including readings, lighting candles, joining the music group and welcome. There is always the chance to socialise during refreshments afterwards.

Youth (11-18’s) meet once a month in St Margaret’s Room for some time together hanging out and chatting about faith. For this terms dates, see the programme below. We also meet with other Youth groups in the area monthly as West Leeds United.

We know children make noise so don't panic if they do. If you feel uncomfortable, speak to one of the welcomers and you can explore the grounds or use the upper hall.

If your child has special needs let us know. As a church we seek to make every feel welcome and included, whatever their age.

For those who concentrate better when they have something to fiddle, they are welcome to grab something from our fiddle box. Or if it’s a little noisy, ear defenders are available at the back of church. Just ask one of the welcomers!
